School Aid is a registered nonprofit works with the underprivileged schools to ensure every school have basic infrastructure and every child has access to basic school supplies. At School Aid, we are strongly aligned with the 'Right to Education Act', and committed to the Government's vision to improve access to education for children, especially in rural areas.
In India, millions of children attend government schools. Over 80 per cent of government schools lack basic facilities such as proper classrooms, clean drinking water, toilets, libraries, and playgrounds. This significantly affects the overall quality of education provided to children.
We enhance learning environment by renovating or building safe, comfortable classrooms, toilets and other basic facilities in underprivileged schools.
We provide school bags & notebooks to underprivileged children to ensure all children have equal opportunities and quality education.
We provide sports equipment to schools to encourage physical activities, which are crucial for childrens overall health and development.
We facelift old, damaged school buildings by repairing & painting. We renovate classrooms & other facilities and make it usable and colourful.
We create libraries, science and computer labs in rural schools to ensure every student have access to a quality learning environment.
School Aid currently operates in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
